An excellent pallet cleanser in the sea of eye bleach worthy content.

I thought sonic fanart died long ago... anyway.

Guessing it was done in Illustrator, or Photoshop / SAI without pen pressure. Construction and anatomy is OK, but zero emphasis on line weight makes it look boring. No shading across the illustration leaves it looking flat. I can tell there was a bit of highlighting on the badge of the bottom character, but why highlighting was left out on the rest of the illustration; I do not know.
